We’re thrilled to share some momentous news from the heart of Texas! On Wednesday, October 8th, EBNS proudly hosted a celebratory Ribbon Cutting event that marks a significant milestone in our mission. This vital connection is set to ignite unprecedented opportunities for local students, bolstering STEM education and fostering a new generation of innovators and leaders.

This strategic partnership isn’t just about membership; it’s a direct pipeline for San Antonio’s high school and college students to dive deep into exciting Electrathon STEM projects and thrilling races. Beyond the track, students will gain access to specialized courses, enriching seminars, cutting-edge devices, and invaluable training. Our goal is clear: to cultivate motivated students who are well-prepared to become future citizens and highly skilled professionals, ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
The hosts and facilities
The festive event, held at the dynamic Venture Point Broadway facilities, was expertly hosted by our very own Miguel Miranda, EBNS Director of Alliances, and co-hosted by Mr Luis Escobar, General Manager of Venture Point, strategic ally of the series. We were honored by the presence of key figures from the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, including Phillip Sánchez, Assistant Director of Membership, and Victoria Quintanilla, Membership Specialist. Lending their esteemed support as ambassadors were Art and Rae Saldana, alongside a host of other enthusiastic members and supporters.

Guests mingled and enjoyed a delicious taco breakfast – the perfect fuel for discussing the future of STEM. The atmosphere was buzzing with shared excitement as attendees viewed captivating videos showcasing students fully committed to their tasks, meticulously building and fiercely competing in the Electrathon races. A consensus emerged swiftly: activities of this kind are immensely important. They need to be championed, promoted, and expanded to gather even more dedicated teams, supportive schools, and crucial allies into our growing network.
